The correct answer is:

12 rides

Explanation:

You have $35 to spend. Taking away the admission price, $12.99, we have

35-12.99 = $22.01 left.

Each ride costs $1.75. This means you can ride

22.01/1.75 = 12.577 or 12 rides. (This does not round up, as you would not have enough money to ride 13 rides.)

12 rides because your answer would be 12.5771428571 and you can't have .5771428571 as a ride. so you would round down. Brainliest answer? fine if not but that would be your answer. 12.99 as your y-intercept and 1.75 as your x

1x + 4y = 4 ⇒ 6x + 24y = 24

6x -  8y = 0 ⇒ 6x -   8y = 0

                               32     32

                                  y = 3/4

                    x + 4(3/4) = 4

                           x + 3 = 4

                               -3   -3
