Answer:

1/16 ( or as a decimal 0.0625).

Step-by-step explanation:

So we know that anything to the power is it times it self that many times.

Example: 4 to the second power is just 4 x 4= 16 (Remember it's NOT 4 x 2)

So, now we have 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 = X

If you don't know how to multiply fractions you can easily turn it into a decimal, 0.5! So 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25, sense it's too the 4th power we have to do that again. So now we have 0.25 x 0.25 = X (or 1/4 x 1/4 = X). Now we do 0.25 x 0.25 = 0.0625. So that's are decimal, but we want it as a fraction so now we convert 0.0625 into 1/16!

I know this isn't the best explanation, but hope it helps!

The production cost, represented by y, of smart phone devices are equal to the product of computing components (a) and the squar
Marta_Voda [28]

The production cost is an illustration of a quadratic function

How to determine the equation

We have the following parameters:

 • Computing components (a)
 • Number of devices (x),
 • Labor (b)
 • Savings on reusable material (c)

Using the instructions in the question, the equation of the production cost would be:

y =ax^2 + bx -c

Hence, the production cost is y =ax^2 + bx -c

Change the subject of the equation

In (a), we have:

y =ax^2 + bx -c

Subtract bx - c from both sides

y - bx + c = ax^2

Divide through by x^2

a = \frac{y - bx + c}{x^2}

Hence, the equation that represents the computing component is a = \frac{y - bx + c}{x^2}

A cube has a volume of 343 cubic cm. What is the area of the base
Amanda [17]

Answer:

49 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume (V) of a cube is calculated as

V = s³ ← s is the length of the side, thus

s³ = 343 ( take the cube root of both sides )

s = \sqrt[3]{343} = 7, thus

area of base = s² = 7² = 49 cm²
