The oxygen first enters through our nose and then goes down to the trachea and passes numerous bronchioles down to alveoli. gaseous exchange takes place there. Then the oxygen enters the bloodstream and carried by haemoglobin towards the cells. Here oxygen is used to break down food to produce energy. Thus the path of blood is : -

Nose > Trachea > Lungs > Blood > heart > Cell > Mitochondria (where the breakdown of food occurs)

How do we know when the moth species Stigmella
Mademuasel [1]

Yes, the the moth species Stigmella heteromelis is alive due to the presence of desired or favourable environment for their survival.

Factors affecting the presence of a specie

The moth species Stigmella will be considered alive if the environment that species of Stigmella needs for their survival is present because if the environment exist on the earth then it is possible that the moth specie Stigmella is present on this planet but if the there is no suitable environment.

Then we make the opinion that the specie of Stigmella heteromelis is not present on this planet so we can conclude that the presence of species on the basis of desired or favourable environment for their survival.

What is the correct amino acid sequence for the given DNA sequence? TACACGTTCACC
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

The correct answer is - B) methionine, cysteine, lysine, tryptophan

Explanation:

Amino acid chain or sequence depends on the codes or the information mRNA is copied from the DNA sequence. The DNA sequence is the sequence of the nitrogenous bases that are coded or copied by mRNA in the complementary sequence and then translate into an amino acid sequence:

DNA: TACACGTTCACC

mRNA: AUG-UGC-AAG-UGG

Amino acid sequence: methionine, cysteine, lysine, tryptophan

What is included in the body’s nonspecific defense against invading pathogens?
Setler [38]

The body's nonspecific defiance against invading pathogens is known as innate immunity and includes the following:

mechanical barriers and surface secretions

1. The intact skin and mucous membranes of the body. These provide a high degree of protection against pathogens.

2. The sebaceous secretions and sweat of the skin contain bactericidal and fungicidal fatty acids that can kill bacteria and fungi.

3. Normal bacterial flora of the skin may produce various antimicrobial substances such as bacteriocines and acids.

Humoral defence mechanisms

1. Lysozyme. This is an enzyme found in most tissue fluids apart from cerebrospinal fluid, urine, and sweat. It can kill bacteria.

2. Interferon. Inhibits viruses from replicating

3. Complement. This is a heat labile serum that can destroy gram-negative bacteria.
