We know that
\frac{ab}{cd} = \frac{a}{c} \times  \frac{b}{d}

Therefore
\frac{6\times10^{5}}{3\times10^{2}} = \frac{6}{3} \times  \frac{10^{5}}{10^{2}} =2 \times 10^{5-2} = 2 \times 10^{3} = 2000

This verifies that Camile's method is justified.

Graph the linear equation. 4x+6y= -12
natka813 [3]

Answer:

The points are  ( x_1 , y_1 ) = ( 0 , - 2 ) and  ( x_2 , y_2 ) = ( - 3 , 0 )

These points is plotted on the x-y graph

Step-by-step explanation:

Given linear equation as :

4 x + 6 y = - 12

now, Let the points for the equation be

( x_1 , y_1 )  and  ( x_2 , y_2 )

Now, From equation

For, x = 0

4 × 0 + 6 × y = - 12

Or, 0 + 6 × y = - 12

∴ y = \frac{-12}{6}

I.e y = - 2

So, ( x_1 , y_1 ) = ( 0 , - 2 )

Again

For, y = 0

4 × x + 6 × 0 = - 12

Or, 4 × x  + 0 = - 12

∴ x = \frac{-12}{4}

I.e x = - 3

So, ( x_2 , y_2 ) = ( - 3 , 0 )

So, The points are  ( x_1 , y_1 ) = ( 0 , - 2 ) and  ( x_2 , y_2 ) = ( - 3 , 0 )

Now, These points is plotted on the x-y graph Answer
