Charles law states that volume of gas is directly proportional to temperature of gas at constant pressure and fixed amount of gas.
V / T = k
where V - volume , T - temperature in Kelvin and k - constant
\frac{V1}{T1} =  \frac{V2}{T2}
where parameters for the first instance are on the left side and parameters for the second instance are on the right side of the equation
T1 = 25 °C + 273 = 298 K
T2 = 35 °C + 273 = 308 K
substituting values in the equation,
\frac{5.00L}{298 K} =  \frac{V}{308 K}
V = 5.17 L
new volume is 5.17 L

Is an example of the carbon cycle occurring slowly?(1 point)
o-na [289]

Decomposition is a part of the carbon cycle that occurs slowly hence  movement of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere when bacteria decomposes dead matter is a slow part of the carbon cycle.

<h3>What is the carbon cycle?</h3>

The carbon cycle is part of the biogeochemical cycles that exist in nature. It refers to the movement of carbon in the ecosystem. The carbon cycle cuts across the air, the land and the water bodies.

The process in the carbon cycle that occurs slowly among the options is the movement of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere when bacteria decomposes dead matter.

Nearly every compound of silicon has the element in the ⁺4 oxidation state. In contrast, most compounds of lead have the element
adoni [48]

This is due to the phenomenon known as the Inert pair effect.

Orbitals shield better with a lower azimuthal quantum number(l). Hence, s orbitals shield better than p which shields better than d which is better than f, etc.

The electronic configuration of Si is [Ne] 3s²3p². The 2s and 2p orbitals are shielding the electrons from the nucleus. So the s and p electrons are ready to be ionized. And hence shows a +4 oxidation state.

Similarly, as we move down the group, atomic size increases, and metallic character also increases. Also, lead is below Si and a lower oxidation state is more stable down the group. Hence lead shows a +2 oxidation state.
