<span>Adaptation can help reduce competition for example if a species start feeding on other things. For example, if two species of squirrels fight for nuts, they can make sort of an animal non formal arrangement that one species eats from the trees and the other eats what falls on the ground, so they adapt to reduce competition.</span>
