Talja [164]

A public record contains information about an incident or action reported to a government agency for the purpose of informing the public.

What is a public record?

Records that are covered by Schedule 1 of the Public Records Act of 1958 (PRA) are considered Public Records. They are documents produced or acquired by the military forces, the NHS, the courts, and the executive agencies of government ministries. If they are Crown property, they also consist of the records of non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs).

There are some things that are expressly excluded, such birth, marriage, death, and adoption registers; documents that are entirely or mostly about Scottish matters; and the permanent collections of public record museums and galleries. The PRA also gives the Secretary of State the authority to order that a body's records be made public and to decide whether or not such documents are public.

Do you think the United States should change the way it elects government officials to break the two-party system?
Trava [24]
Yes because if we look at the two party system there are lots of flaws in it essentially the minorities voices are less heard because if their values don’t align with anyone then they may choose to not vote which causes a low voter turnout since i’d say the two main parties have pretty big differences in views especially depending on the leader of the party, if they went to proportional representation like sweden everyone’s voices would be heard and it would be easier to make decisions and a higher voting turnout because more party’s to choose from so it would give plurality to the system.

grigory [225]

Answer: b. Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.

The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act is the only one of these acts that did not impact Asian Americans. The act was enacted in November 1990, and it requires institutions that receive federal funding to return Native American items to the descendants of the tribes. This includes human remains, funerary objects and other cultural items. It also establishes procedures for the inadvertent discovery of those items.

natima [27]

Simone suffers from elective mutism - that is, she chooses not to speak - at all. Simone's behavior may be considered abnormal according not typically or culturally expected criterion for classifying abnormality.

According to the qualitative concept, normality and abnormality differ in quality and not in quantity. These two concepts are separated from each other by water tight compartments by this older conception. Not long ago, the insane, criminals and mentally deficient were considered to form a special group below the normal group, just as the gifted were considered to constitute a special group above the normal group.

It was also accepted that the insane, delinquent and genius were governed by distinctly different laws. Thus, according to the qualitative concept, the insane and genius have no similarity with the normal people in any respect?

This popular conception of the distribution of human personality is represented below diagrammatically which aptly suggests a qualitative difference between the insane, normal and genius.

To indicate the difference between the abnormal, the normal and the superior each group has been described as a separate entity.
