Alice has read 150 pages, you would multiple 200 by .75 (75%). If Nina had read 50% of her book and she read 150, you multiple by 2, and get 300. So Nina has 300 pages in her book.

Can anyone help me with some summer homework ;(
marishachu [46]

Their houses are nine miles away from each other. Mark rides his bike at a rate of twelve miles per hour. Each hour consists of sixty minutes; therefore I would do 60/12 to get five, representing him being able to do one mile in five minutes. Hence, you shall perform 9*5 or nine times five to get the answer of fourty-five minutes.

12 MILES PER HOUR

60 divided by 12 = 5 minutes

ONE MILE PER 5 MINUTES

9 multiplied by 5 = 45 minutes

I hope this helps.

last week a share of stock gained a total of 1.64 points. express this gain as a mixed number in simplest form.
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer: Mixed fraction in simplest form is given by

1\frac{16}{25}

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that,

A share of stock gained a total points = 1.64

Since it has a whole part i.e. 1 and decimal part i.e. 64 which is convert into a fraction as it is 0.64 , we will divide it by 100 to remove the decimal and make it a fraction.

In mixed fraction , we will write as

1\frac{64}{100}\\\\=1\frac{16}{25}

Hence, we get a required answer.
