It is necessary to critique a scientific argument before it is accepted in order to address and refine the problems of a specific argument. To critique an argument also eliminates biases in order to make the argument valid. It should also pass a certain standard to make it qualified for acceptance.

To be accepted, a scientific argument must first proved it's solidity and validity and critiques from other expert is usually the best way to explain both the solidity and the validity of a scientific argument

Oxidative Phosphorylation

Explanation:

The process by which ATP is generated by utilizing the large amount of energy released during the transfer of electrons from NADH or FADH₂ to the O₂ through a series of electron carrier present in the mitochondrial membrane is called oxidative phosphorylation.

The process of electron transfer is accompanied by the pumping of protons across inner membrane of mitochondria, from the mitochondrial matrix to intermembrane space establishing electrochemical proton gradient.

The ATP synthase complex present in the mitochondrial membrane allows the protons to move down the proton gradient as a result enough energy is released to add a phosphate group to ADP and form ATP inside the mitochondrial matrix.

What do we mean when we say that there is a "Consilience of Evidence" supporting a theory?
Gnoma [55]

The correct answer is C) That scientists who have worked on the theory have independently and repeatedly come to the same conclusions over time.

Explanation:

In science, the term "consilience of evidence" is used when the evidence of a hypothesis or theory is consistent especially evidence from independent scientists or sources. This often implies the theory has been tested many times and by different experts and even using different methods but the results are always the same. This consilience of evidence is essential to declare a theory as valid and concluding. In this context, the option that describes the meaning of this term is C.
