Explanation:

  • All the process of weathering leads due to the tools of weathering such as agents of change like the running water, winds, and ice all act as to deform or wear out the rocks below and then completely eradicating them from the upper layers.
  • As it's seen the faster rates of chemical weathering tends to occur in places of humid and hot topics. As landslides and mass wasting are associated with physical weathering the softer rocks are easier to weather first than those of hard and strong bases.
  • As we have seen valley and stream erosion which is common in the river ecosystem is a product of the permeability of rock or its capacity to let the water pass through. Like the continental crust is made up of lighter elements and hence they move and erode as compared to the harder oceanic crust which is stable and less prone to erosion.
