What is the voting rights act
Taya2010 [7]

The voting rights act is to enforce the 15th amendment. It was passed so that it was made illegal to use test or clauses to be allowed to vote. Because for a long time many white people in the south were making it even harder for African Americans to vote. This is still used to a certain point so people are not held from their right to vote.
