Ancestral worship had been deeply rooted in ancient Chinese culture and religion.It involved worship of deceased family members based on the belief that they continued to exist and could influence the lives of the living. Buddhism arrived to China during the 1st century CE. Legends say that Emperor Ming(28-75 CE) was told by his assistant about a God in India who shone like the sun and could fly. So he ordered for Buddhism and its teachings to be brought to China. Buddhism easily combined with folk religion and merged ancestor worship and veneration of Buddha as God.

After the fall of the Ching Dynasty, the Republic of China (RoC) emerged. However it was riven by internal strife. Much of the early years was spent fighting the various warlords. After the death RoCs founder Sun Yat-Sun, he was succeeded by Chiang Kai Shek aka Generalissimo. He spent much of his time building up the Chinese army and fighting other warlords and the Communists. It was effectively strongman politics. Sun Yat-Sun and Chiang Kai Shek were not elected, so in a sense, similar to Communists. Chiang was aligned with the West. Mao with the Soviets. An interesting bit of trivia is that the crack Chinese units were trained by the Germans. They gave a good account in the Battle for Shanghai, although their strength was depleted after that. This is why some Chinese officers used the Mauser C96 aka Broomhandle pistol.

What is the order in which the caste system has changed in India? Place the first development at the top and the most recent dev
zmey [24]

The correct order is:

3. A system of social classes based on birth evolved;

1. Castes are rigid and inflexible; people are born into a caste and cannot leave it;

4. Castes are a prominent part of people's lives, but people may have been able to move around;

2. Discrimination based on caste is determined to be illegal;

The caste system is a system with very long history, and it has been part of the Indian culture for centuries. At the begging, when it was implemented into the society, the caste system was very rigid and strict, and people were destined from birth to a certain social status for the rest of their lives. This lasted for a very long period of time. In the past century, the caste system started to be a bit more flexible, so certain individuals that showed greater qualities were able to progress into the caste system. And recently, the caste system, and discrimination based on it, have been made illegal in the country, so officially it has come to an end.
