According to Gandhi, how can Indians defeat the British?
alekssr [168]
History remembers Mohandas Gandhi’s Salt March as one of the great episodes of resistance in the past century and as a campaign which struck a decisive blow against British imperialism. In the early morning of March 12, 1930, Gandhi and a trained cadre of 78 followers from his ashram began a march of more than 200 miles to the sea. Three and a half weeks later, on April 5, surrounded by a crowd of thousands, Gandhi waded into the edge of the ocean, approached an area on the mud flats where evaporating water left a thick layer of sediment, and scooped up a handful of salt.

Why did presidente Roosevelt deploy the US Pacific fleet at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Finger [1]

Answer:

He did it to show the American power. He also canceled the trading between Japan and them (stop giving them the neccissary oil that Japan needed for the military). Japan resolved the problem through diplomacy while at the same time, planning attacks, especially on Pearl Harbor. The leader of Japan thought that having a surprise attack on the United States would give time for Japan to consolidate.

1.List two ways that the Grange and Farmers’ Alliances helped farmers
miss Akunina [59]

Answer:Because of the mass appeal of the Populist movement, the Democratic Party began to champion many of its policy goals. In the 1896 presidential election, the Democrats nominated William Jennings Bryan as its candidate, and the Populists agreed to support him. The People’s Party was thus folded into the Democratic Party and began to fade from the national scene.

The effect of the fusion of the Populist Party and the Democratic Party was a disaster in the South. Though there had always been conflict within the Populist movement about whether African Americans should be included, the Democratic Party in the South was unabashedly racist. Though Bryan performed strongly in the areas of greatest Populist influence, he lost the election to Republican William McKinley.^4

Levart [38]

The Romans invented a lot of things that we use today, such as transportation, weapons, and much more. The Romans also showed us how to have entertainment (not by gladiators), but by other means of fun. The Romans also showed us a way how to live life, and how to show dominance over others. To Conclude, this is why the world would be different without the contributions of the Romans.
