I don't believe so.
Government intervention (such as welfares) is actually a good policy to help poor people sustain themselves for a short period of time .
But, in order to fully eliminate their poverty, Government should focus itself to help poor people get a good job to sustain their own living, otherwise, the Government just hemorrhaging expenditures and increases national debt overtime
This is the answer to your question. Hope this helps!
Explanation:
20 men can do 1 W in 36 days
=> 20 men can do 1/36 W in 1 day
=> 10 men can do 1/72 W in 1 day.
30 girls can do 1W in 36 days
=> 30 girls can do 1/36 W in 1 day
=> 12 girls can do 1/90 W in 1 day.
Together 10 men and 12 girls can do 1/72 + 1/90 W in 1 day
= 9/360 = 1/40 W in 1 day.
Therefore they need 40 days to do the piece of work.
Before farming, people hunted animals and gathered plants (such as berries) for food: they're called hunter-gatherers.
They lived in whatever provided shelter: caves were a good candidate, but also huts made from whatver was available (mud, bamboo, wood, etc.).
