Your answer is A

distribute the 8 to the 4x and 2 which gives you
=32x + 16 + 4 >_ 5
now you need to add the 16 and the 4
which leaves you with
=32x + 20 >_ 5
then subtract the 20 from both sides
then you have
=32x >_ -15
then divide 32 from both sides with gives you
x>_ -15/32 or x>_ -0.5

Answer:  B) [1.5, ∞)

Step-by-step explanation:

log₈ (4x + 2) + 4 ≥ 5

log₈ (4x + 2)       ≥ 1               subtract 1 from both sides

       4x + 2         ≥ 8¹             apply log rules

       4x               ≥ 6              subtracted 2 from both sides

                       x ≥ 1.5            divided 4 from both sides

In interval notation:   [1.5, ∞)

1.5 is included so use the bracket.

It is "greater than" so it goes to infinity (which uses a parenthesis)

A house that costs $125,400 appreciates at a rate of 3% each year. What is the value of the
ser-zykov [4K]

Answer:

The value after three years is $137,027.97

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we want to get the value of the home after 3 years

Generally, we have the exponential formula as follows;

y = P(1 + r)^t

where P is the original cost which is $124,400

r is the rate of increase which is 3% = 3/100 = 0.03

t is the time which is 3 years

Substituting these values;

y = 125400(1 + 0.03)^3 = $137,027.97

PLEASE HELP ME 3X+1/14=2X/8 WHAT IS X? EXPLAIN HOW YOU GOT THE ANSWER
balandron [24]
Cross-multiply so that 8(3x + 1) = 14(2x)

Distribute the 8 and 14 into the parentheses:
24x + 8 = 28x

Subtract 24x from both sides:
8 = 4x

Divide both sides by 4:
x = 2
