Answer:

D) United States and the Soviet Union

Explanation:

Cold War is the designation attributed to the historical period of strategic disputes and indirect conflicts between the United States and the Soviet Union, comprising the period between the end of World War II (1945) and the extinction of the Soviet Union (1991), a conflict of political, military, technological, economic, social and ideological order between the two nations and their zones of influence. It is called "cold" because there was no direct war between the two superpowers, given the unfeasibility of victory in a nuclear battle. The arms race for building a large arsenal of nuclear weapons was the central goal during the first half of the Cold War, stabilizing itself from the 1960s until the 1970s and being revived in the 1980s with the design of the President of the United States Ronald Reagan called "Star Wars".

Why where the liberated countries so unstable
aev [14]
People often obey a gevernment out of habit. Obviously habit is not something a new government has on it's side.
People hate a government which hurts them. Because people had time to adapt to old laws (murder illegal? work as potato farmer rather than assasin!) they are more hurt by old governments than new ones.
Whenever a country is 'liberated' either by external or internal forces, the liberators make all kinds of promises to all kinds of people. Some of these promises at least will be broken, causing members of the new ruling class to turn against eachother.
And often new governments lose the services of the most experienced police and propaganda men who worked for the old regime and our thus less able to defend themselves than established ones.

Principle II: Responsibility for Professional Competence: C: The professional educator acts in the best interest of all students
marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

The correct answer to the question: Which professional tenet has the educator violated? Would be: Protecting students from any practice that harms, or has the potential to harm, students.

Explanation:

The reason for this being the answer comes from the very principle placed in the question: Principle II: Responsibility for Professional Competence: C: The professional educator acts in the best interest of all students.

In this scenario, specifically, the educator finds herself with the situation of a student that she has learned places that student in direct danger. He has to walk home every day and go through a portion of town where gang problems are present. Not only that, but she learns that her student has had to face fights with these gang members on several ocassions, which means that her student has faced not only harm, but the danger of becoming involved with gangs. Instead of acting as she should have professionally, which was to seek the best steps to help the student resolve his issue, she decides to only tell him to be careful and never says anything about the case. This completely violates her duty as a teacher to protect her students and ensure that potential harming situations are dealt with appropriately.
