Write about a character who time travels to the year 2155. What do they see? Whom do they meet? What new technology do they enco
diamong [38]

Answer:

I am in the year 2155, everything seems different. The last memory I have is from the year 2020. I see buildings that are so tall that you cannot see the top. Cars do not exist anymore, everybody has an individual machine they use to fly and transport wherever they want; short distances though. For long distances trips, they use something similar to a plane, but a lot smaller and faster.

I have seen a lot of people, but I did not talk to anyone yet. Everyone seems isolated in their own worlds. I found out there are only five presidents in the whole world; they represent the continents. There are not many mortal diseases now and wars have stopped since the decision of having five worldwide presidents. However, climate change is still a problem. When I finally talked to a man, he told me everyone is concerned about it. I told him we used to talk about climate change in 2020 and he said he knew because there is a new technology that can explain the world's history in minutes. They do not want to repeat the same mistakes all over again.

Explanation:

To complete this exercise, I wrote a story about a character who time travels to the year 2155 and finds everything different.

In creative writing activities, you should write without bounds. There are no structures like in academic or journalistic writings, for example.

Steve is a football player who is playing on his high school team for the first time. In his first game his performance is poor.
Talja [164]

Answer: Steve is experiencing evaluation apprehension

Explanation: Since Steve was playing for his high school team for the first time, he knew that others would be watching and evaluating his game, and among those watching him were coaches, therefore, on whom his future playing on the team depends. Based on the coach's judgement, it depends on whether Steve will play the next game, etc., which means a reward / penalty concept based on what others think of Steve. This means that during the game, Steve has been thinking about what others think of him that causes arousal, and that arousal can improve or diminish our work, in Steve's case was that this excitement diminished his performance in the match.

It means that when we work in the presence of others who are watching over us, we think like Steve, what do they think about our work and that can improve or diminish our performance, so we have experienced evaluation apprehension.
