Before the groups of colonists we know now, there’s the story of Roanoke. A well known theory is that the colonists simply just up and disappeared, but in reality the word left behind “Roanoke” was an island nearby home to native Americans. A theory is that these colonists left to join the native American society. What came after were the Jamestown colonists, hellbent on finding gold. Then the puritans, who’s strict religious rules give a cultish like feel. Indentured servants who were basically slaves, promised a new life in the new world but only after they worked for years for the higher-class. Then the first form of government, which did not work in the long run, was made; the mayflower compact.

URGENT. <br> What is a law called after it passes congress?
Ede4ka [16]

Answer:

A law is called a bill after it passes congress.

Explanation:

After both the House and Senate have approved a bill in identical form, the bill is sent to the President. If the President approves of the legislation, it is signed and becomes law. If the President takes no action for ten days while Congress is in session, the bill automatically becomes law.

Which of the following does not provide strong evidence for the big bang theory?
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

Evolution does not support the big bang theory.

Explanation:

The Big Bang theory states that the world was created in a cataclysmic explosion (the Big Bang) - if that is true, everything would have just 'appeared' and not have evolved from smaller, lower life forms.
