3. Growth of Cholera bacteria. Suppose that the cholera bacteria in a colony grows unchecked according to the Law of Exponential
Elza [17]

Answer:

2.814 * 10^14

Step-by-step explanation:

For exponential growth:

A = A0*e^kt

A = final amount ; A0 = initial amount ; t = time

Since bacterium doubles ever half hour ;

In 1 hour number of bacterium will be 2² = 4

Hence

Final amount after 1 hour

4 = 1*e^k*1

4 =e^k

Take In of both sides

In(4) = k

Number of bacterium in 24 hours

A = 1*e^In4 * 24

A = e^24In4

A = e^33.271064

A = 281474976710656

A = 2.814 * 10^14

1. All numbered streets runs parallel to each other. Both 3rd and 4th Streets are intersected by King Ave. as shown:
SCORPION-xisa [38]
Hey there!

(Part 1) <span>

Your question states:

Suppose a car is traveling east on 4th Street and turns onto King Avenue heading northeast. What is the measure of the angle created by the car's turning? Explain your answer.

180</span>°-70°= 110° ✓

This person  would be driving 110° degrees. ✓

So, what we would do it do 180° subtracted by 70. We need to find how much he turns onto King Avenue heading northeast. So we do 180° because that would be considered a full half turn, so 180° subtracted by 70 and that would give you . . .

180° - 70° = \boxed{\boxed{110}}

(Part 2)

Your question states:
<span>
Suppose a car is traveling southwest on King Avenue and turns left onto 3rd Street. What is the measure of the angle created by the car's turning? Explain your answer.</span>

This may be a little tricky on this side. These side's are coherent. As we know now that the angel on (King Ave.)  was 110°, we would say the on the (3rd angel through King Ave.) that angel as well would be 110° because that is the angel on top. This would mean that they would be the same. But the thing is, we are finding what is the angel when the car is traveling southwest on King Avenue and turns left onto 3rd Street. This angel would be 70° degrees because as we do 70° + 70° + 110° + 110° = 360°.

This is how we would know that this would be that angel going into (<span>3rd Ave).

</span>My steps: 360° - 110° - 110° = 140°.

140° ÷ 2 = ∡70° ✓

Your correct answer would be \boxed{\boxed{70}}

Step #3

Your question states:

<span>Suppose a car is traveling northeast on King Avenue and turns right onto 3rd Street. What is the measure of the angle created by the car's turning? Explain your answer.
</span>
Your correct answer would equal 110°. <span>✓</span>

My steps:

360° - 75° - 75° = 210°

210° ÷ 2 = 105° ✓

Your correct answer would be \boxed{\boxed{105}}
