I kind of forgot how to do it but here is what I know so far : first you separate the two parts into (5a^2 + 7a) + (6b^2-4b). This process is called grouping. Now you find the greatest common factor in both of them which later your equation will be a(5a + 7) +2b(3b - 2). That is all I can remember so hope that helped

Determine the surface area of the cylinder below.
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:

9π m²

Step-by-step explanation:

We will need calculate the area of the top, the base and sides.

Area of the top=πr²

Area of the base=πr²

Area of the side: 2πrh

Surface area of a cylinder: area of the top + area of the base +area of the side

Surface area of a cylinder=πr²+πr²+2πrh=2πr²+2πrh=2πr(r+h)

Data:

r=1.5 m

h=1.5 m

Surface area of this cylinder=2π(1.5m)(1.5 m+1.5 m)=3π m*(3 m)=9π m².

Based on the information below, choose the correct answers. Note: The monthly loan payment was calculated at 119 payments of $33
Margaret [11]

Answer:

 • $122.04
 • 36.94%

Step-by-step explanation:

a) The amount of concern is ...

 (total interest)/(number of payments) = interest/payment

 $14,644.95/120 ≈ $122.04 . . . . amount of interest per payment

__

b) The ratio of concern is ...

 (total interest)/(total payments) × 100% = 14,644.95/39,644.95 × 100%

 ≈ 36.94% . . . . percent of total payments that is interest

What is the correct slope intercept form of the equation y + 16 = 3(x - 0) ?
Sindrei [870]

slope intercept form is just solve for y

y+16=3(x-0)

y+16=3(x)

y+16=3x

mius 16 both sides

Many people feel that the drying of pavement marking paint is much too slow. You spend several days looking for the fastest dryi
slavikrds [6]

Answer:

21

Step-by-step explanation:

Using Simple Random Sampling, we can estimate the sample size by the formula

\bf n=\frac{Z^2S^2}{e^2}

where

n = sample size

Z = the z-score corresponding to the confidence level 99.5%

S = the assumed standard deviation = 3 seconds

e = margin of error = 2 seconds

It is worth noticing that the higher the confidence level, the larger the sample should be.

The z-score corresponding to a confidence level of 99.5% can be obtained either with a table or the computer and equals

Z = 3.023

Replacing the values in our formula

\bf n=\frac{(3.023)^23^2}{2^2}=20.5616\approx 21

So the size of the sample should be at least 21.
