Change the denominators to be all the same. So the fractions would be, 10/30, 6/30, and 15/30. Add the top part of the dividend together to make one big fraction. The whole thing together would be 31/30. Simplify the fraction to make, 1 and 1/30

1/3 + 1/5 + 1/2

=   10/30 + 6/30 + 15/30  =    31/30 =  1 1/30  gallons Answer
