Answer: In an attempt to get pregnant, jasmine had a procedure that involved inserting a small tube through her cervix and injecting sperm directly into her uterus. This reproductive technology is known as Intrauterine Insemination.

In an insemination procedure a thin flexible tube is put into the reproductive tract of women to insert the sperms which improves infertility problems and insemination increases the chances of pregnancy.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a procedure in which the male sperm is inserted into a women’s uterus while she is ovulating. The catheter is passed into vagina then to cervix and uterus. IUI can be done with sperm of the donor or male partner. The procedure is combined with super ovulation medicines which increases the number of eggs.
