An example of a person which is not a native-born citizen would be a person which moved to said country and acquired citizenship. However, said person is originally from a different country.
Example: A Dutch man moves to Germany and becomes a citizen, however, he was born in Holland.
The free soil party does not exist anymore, but it became apart of the republican party in 1854.
