Defensive proteins are manufactured by the immune system.

The immune system is the defense mechanism of the body. Plasma B cells of the immune system synthesize defensive proteins which are also called as antibodies.

These proteins bind to antigens which are present on foreign particles like virus and bacteria. After binding they send a signal to other parts of the immune system which helps in the clearing of pathogens. In this way defensive proteins help in protection of body against diseases.

Answer:

The overuse of pesticides

Explanation:

Pesticides are usually sprayed on plants so that the pest organisms can be killed. But these chemicals sprayed on plants can be toxic for humans when humans consume crops which have been sprayed with pesticides. Also, erosion causes these toxic chemicals to get eroded in the nearby lakes. The chemicals in the pesticides are harmful for every life that uses this water. Hence, the overuse of pesticides might kill pests but it is also toxic for consumption by humans.

rodikova [14]

A mechanism that is effective in maintaining a normal glomerular blood pressure only if the systemic mean arterial pressure remains between 80 and 180 mm hg is called renal autoregulation.

What is renal autoregulation?

 • Autoregulation is the inner characteristic of blood vessels present in end organs, like heart, kidney, and mind, by which they dilate or constrict in response to pressure changes, thus help to keep the blood flow generally steady.
 • Usually our body tries to regulate our blood pressure in range of 50 to 150 mm Hg.
 • Regulation of renal blood flow and glomerular blood pressure in kidneys is called renal autoregulation.
 • There are 3 mechanisms of renal blood flow namely myogenic response (MR), tubuloglomerular feedback (TGF) and third mechanism that is independent of TGF but slower than MR.

a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

It is called a double circulatory system because blood passes through the heart twice per circuit. The right pump sends deoxygenated blood to the lungs where it becomes oxygenated and returns back to the heart. The left pump sends the newly oxygenated blood around the body.
