6x + 3y = 12\\
6x - 5y = 60\\\\
6x + 3y = 12\\
-6x + 5y = -60\\
--------\\
8y=-48\\
y=-6\\\\
6x+3\cdot(-6)=12\\
6x-18=12\\
6x=30\\
x=5

6x+3y=12. so... 6x=12-3y.

6x-5y=60, so... 6x=60+5y

As 6x=6x

12-3y=60+5y

12-60=8y

8y=-48

So y=-48/8=-6

When y=-6,

6x-5(-6)=60

6x+30=60

6x=30

Therefore x=5.

So x=5 and y=-6.

Simplify C^5 x c<br> Plz can someone figure it out cuz I don’t get it
Fofino [41]

Answer:

c^6

Step-by-step explanation:

So, c is the same as c^ 1 ... therefore

c^5 x c

= c^5 x c^1

When we multiply two numbers with same base and different exponent, we add the exponents which in this case as 5 and 1

So c^5 x c^1

= c^(5+1)

= c^6

This is the simplest form

If x2 = 60, what is the value of x?
MArishka [77]

Answer:

x = ±2sqrt(15)

Step-by-step explanation:

x^2 = 60

Take the square root of each side

sqrt(x^2) = ±sqrt(60)

x = ±sqrt(60)

x = ±sqrt(4 *15)

x = ±2sqrt(15)
