Every member of Congress has to fill out a questionnaire that includes a question about their religious affiliation. According to the results, most members of Congress are Christian (115th Congress - 90.7% Christian; 116th Congress - 88.2% Christian). Most members do have a college degree, not many of them belong to minority groups and most (especially Senate members) belong to the upper class.
