Ratio of 2 complementary angles = 4:5
Let first angle be 4x
Let second angle be 5x
Sum of two complementary angles = 90
4x + 5x = 90
9x = 90
x = 90/9 = 10
First angle = 4x = 4*10 = 40
Second angle = 5x = 5*10 = 50
I hope it is helpful...

The volume of a sphere is found using the formula V= 4/3 3.14r^3. If the radius of a sphere is 3/4 feet, what is the volume of t
Rufina [12.5K]
The volume of the sphere is expressed in the formula V= 4/3 3.14r^3 and we are given the radius of the sphere. to find the volume, we can directly substitute r as the unit of the volume to be determined is consistent with the given. Hence, via subsitution, the answer is 1.7671 cubic feet

A new furnace for your small factory will cost $29,000 and a year to install, will require ongoing maintenance expenditures of $
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

Net present value is $61,058.

Step-by-step explanation:

Net present value is the difference between present value of cash inflows and the present value cash outflows over the period of time. NPV method is used in capital budgeting to analyze profitability of the project.

Less: initial cost is $29,000

Add: Year 1: Cost saving due to new furnace is $5,600 (2,800 oil gallons * $ 2 per gallon)

Year 2: Cost saving due to new furnace is $7,000 (2,800 oil gallons * $ 2.50 per gallon)

Year 3- 20: Cost saving due to new furnace is $8,400 (2,800 oil gallons * $ 3 per gallon)

Less : Maintenance expenditure is $1,200

The furnace will benefit for 20 years and the price per gallon will increase by $0.50 year.

The annuity factor is applied at discount factor of 6% and then present value of each cash inflow and outflow is calculated. The net present value is $61,058.

What is the perimeter to the nearest 10th of a unit
Viktor [21]
Remember that perimeter is the sum of the lengths of the sides. The way to find the length of the sides is \sqrt{ ( x_{2} - x_{1} )^{2} * ( y_{2} - y_{1} )^{2} } where (x_{1},y_{1}) is one endpoint of one line, while (x_{2},y_{2}) is the other endpoint of the same line. Repeat this formula for each side and add them all together to get your perimeter
