C= pi•diameter. If the dinner plate's diameter is 7 inches, then multiply 7 times pi, 3.14. 7•3.14= 21.98. So, the answer for the first question is B, 22. :)

For the second question, it is asking for the answer in terms of pi. Since the diameter is 6, divide 6 by 2 to get the radius. (A=pi•radius squared) 6 divided by 2 is 3. Now, square 3. which gives you 9. Since the answer has to be in terms of pi, the answer is B. ;)

Question 1:
---------------------------------------------
Given information
---------------------------------------------
Diameter = 7 inches

---------------------------------------------
Find Circumference
---------------------------------------------
Circumference = πD
Circumference = π x 7
Circumference = 22 inches (nearest inches)

---------------------------------------------
Answer: 22 inches
---------------------------------------------

Question 2:
---------------------------------------------
Find Radius
---------------------------------------------
Diameter = 6 feet
Radius = 6 ÷ 2
Radius = 3 feet

---------------------------------------------
Find Area
---------------------------------------------
Area = πr²
Area = π x 3 x 3
Area = 9π ft²

---------------------------------------------
Answer: 9π ft² (Answer B)
---------------------------------------------

Question 3:

---------------------------------------------
Given information
---------------------------------------------
Area = 144 in²

---------------------------------------------
Formula
---------------------------------------------
Area of Square = Length x Length

---------------------------------------------
Apply Formula
---------------------------------------------
144 = Length x Length
Length² = 144
Length = √144
Length = 12

Damon makes 20 cups of lemonade by mixing lemon juice and water. The ratio of lemon juice to water is shown in the tape diagram.
Effectus [21]

Answer:  4 cup

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the total number of cups in lemonade = 20 cups

In which some are cup of lemon juice and some are cups of water.

And, the ratio of cups of lemon juice and water in one lemonade = 1 : 4

Let the cups of lemon juice in one lemonade = 1 x

And, The cups of water in one lemonade = 4 x

Where x is any number.

Thus, 1 x + 4 x = 20

⇒ 5 x = 20

⇒ x = 20/5 = 4

Thus, Damon uses 4 cup of lemon juice in one lemonade.

a. The equation that describes the forces which act in the x-direction:
    (200N)cos(30) - F_s = 0

b. The equation that describes the forces which act in the y-direction:
    F_N - (200N)sin(30) - mg = 0

c. The values of friction and normal forces will be:
     Friction force= (200N)cos(30),

The Normal force is not 490N in either case...
Case 1 (pulling up)
F_N = mg - (200N)sin(30) = 50g - 100N = 390N

Case 2 (pushing down)
F_N = mg + (200N)sin(30) = 50g + 100N = 590N
