A 2-year-old patient shows facial features, such as epicanthal folds, up-slanted palpebral fissures, single transverse palmar crease, and a low nasal bridge. These are referred to as typical features of diagnosis of Down syndrome.

Explanation:

Down syndrome is a congenital disorder occurred by the full or partial copying of the chromosome 21 in the gene, causing the phenomenon of Trisomy 21.

Down syndrome causes distinct features such as upward slanting eyes, flattened face and nose, and a skin fold arising from the upper eyelid. The child in addition to this will have developmental delay.

And, also in some cases heart and thyroid disorders. Down syndrome can be managed with early intervention with special therapist and educators.

Opinion question- for my sake-
-Dominant- [34]
Personally, I think that therapy gets very personal at times, some people would rather see a recovery without having to open up about their issues with a person who they likely do not know. They might either have a hard time opening up, feel uncomfortable, some people don’t even believe in therapy! There’s that one saying “What good will talking do?” some people really have that mentality! So they deal with their issues with meds.
