Answer:

42

Step-by-step explanation:

A rectangle on a coordinate plane has vertices at (7,5), (-7,5), (-7,-2), and (7,-2).

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length ) + 2(width)

LEts find the distance between two points

(7,5), (-7,5)

y values are same . To get distance we subtract the x values

7-(-7)= 7+7=14 is the length

(-7,5), (-7,-2) x values are same. Subtract the y values to get the width

5-(-2)= 7 is the width

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length ) + 2(width)

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(14 ) + 2(7)=42 units

Perimeter of a rectangle;

P=2l+2w

lets say the length is horizontal and the width is vertical. the distance between the x coordinates will determine the length and the distance between the y coordinates will determine the width. once you have those numbers you can use the perimeter formula.

|7 -(-7)| = 14
l = 14
|5-(-2)| = 7
w=7

P=2(14)+2(7)
P= 28+14
P= 42

Answer:

angles 5,6 are supplementary

angles 7 and 4 are vertical angles

(one solution of many)

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets start with supplementary angles. those are two angles that add up to 180 degrees or make a straight angle. Two angles that fulfill this statement are 5 and 6 because 5 and 6 make a straight angle.

Now lets do vertical angles. Vertical angles are angles that are opposite of each. They are made by intersecting diagonals. One pair of angles that fulfill this are angles 7 and 4. if you can tell, they are opposite of each other.

supplementary= 5 and 6

vertical= 7 and 4
