The category of connective used in the example is the following one:

D) indicate repetition of an idea

The connective used was "in other words", which is used to say the same thing using different words or expressions, without altering the meaning. In the sentence, "in other words" was used in order to state, in a different way, that the weather was clear. There was the repetition of an idea, but said in a different way.

Why does analyzing character motivation matter? Give an example using something that you’ve seen or read recently. in the Short
rjkz [21]
Analyzing character motivation matters because it goes deeper into the thoughts and feelings of a character in a story or movie. It is more relevant to know what led up to a character doing something than just knowing a character did something. For example I think of the movie Lizzie McGuire with actress Hillary Duff, which was a Disney channel show. Lizzie McGuire as the main character of the show was always seen talking behind the main scenes of the show to say things that was going on in her head. Things she may not have always said to others . You may want to look this up on YouTube or Google to get a better visual.

What conclusion can you draw about Doris Lessing after reading Through the Tunnel? Doris Lessing is considered a feminist for he
garri49 [273]

The correct answer is the first option. Doris Lessing was indeed considered a feminist and won the Literature Noble Prize in 2007.

Options two is not right, because even though she raised her youngest son on her own, she married twice.

Besides, choice number three is not accurate, since she had three children.

Finally, alternative four is not exact due to the fact that Doris had great interest in writing.
