Try substituting some values in, and you will get your answer.

I'll do the first two.

y = (0) + 4 [=4]
y = (2) + 4 [=6]

In the table, the first two values for y are 6 and 8.
The first two values for y = x + 4 are 4 and 6.

Therefore, we can assume that the rate of change in the function y = x + 4 is less than the rate of change of the function represented in the table.

Your answer is less than.
When you plug in 2 into the equation, it would look like this: Y=2+4. That would make Y equal 6.
In the function, when x=2 y=8.

4 = 3x -x-4<br> I need steps to how to do this
vesna_86 [32]

Step-by-step explanation:

so first you combine like terms , 3x-x-4=4 turns into 4x-4=4 then u add 4 to both sides [inverse operations]

4x-4=4

+4 +4

--------------

4x= 8

----------

4. 4

×=2

then u use inverse operations. agian and divide 4 into 8 and you get 2 !! x = 2

A soccer goal is 24 feet wide. Point A is 40 feet in front of the center of the goal. Point B is 40
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

a) Angles A and B are 90 degree.

b) The 2 angles are equal

c) From point A having a better chance to kicking the ball in to goal

Step-by-step explanation:

a, b) 2 points are in front of the center and right post of goal. Because there is no detail, we can assume that point A, point B, center of goal, right goal post make up a rectangle. Therefore, the 2 angles are measured equally as 90 degree.

c) Because it's a rectangle, the distance between point A and center of goal is shorter than that between point B and center of goal.
