From the information I withdrew from your text. The answer would Be B. The sample might not be representative of the population because it only includes student who are attending an after-school activity. Mainly because you can't determine the amount/percentage of people who ride the bus 'to' school by asking people who take after school programs.
I hope this helps ^-^

The answer is B because it only represents 200 students who are attending an after-school activity.

A group of penguins swam 4/5 mile in 1/3 hour. Use the table to find how many miles the penguins swam in one hour if they swam a
Vinil7 [7]

Answer:

2.4 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a simple ratio problem.

Penguins go 4/5 mile in 1/3rd hour. <em>So how many miles will they go in 1 hour? Let that be x:</em>

<em>\frac{\frac{4}{5}}{\frac{1}{3}}=\frac{x}{1}\\\frac{1}{3}x=\frac{4}{5}\\x=\frac{4}{5}*3=\frac{12}{5}</em>

<em />

<em>That is 12/5 miles or 2  2/5 miles</em>

<em>In decimal, that's </em><em>2.4 miles</em>
