C. It had large deposits of coal and iron.

Thanks to the iron and coal, the city of London on the Tamesis had continuous provisions and energy supply. From Newcastle the coal came from the seas, giving a dynamic of constant expansion and sustained economic activity. Other cities as Birgminham became key in the effort of employing thousands of people in the mining industries.

The Daw Mill record was the most representative among many that stretched across Great Britain. The Carbon industry became fostered by the Royal Society since 1660 and onwards.

Further discoveries in the North Sea found Oil and Natural Gas which increased much the coal and iron industries as they work together in energetic sectors. Later they became key or the military innovations that took place. Many advancements in the use of coal and iron gave England the development of new weapons.

England, once a small country displaced the hegemony that the Spanish had thanks to the Coal and Iron industry. IT became an Empire worldwide and shaped a modern European world and a global context until the Second World War.
