C/C' = .75
d = 3
C=pi x d = 3pi
C' = C/.75 = 4pi
Then since C' = 2r', r' =2

docker41 [41]
Hello friend,here is the solution

<span>Let x be the total distance </span>

<span>Distance travelled by rail = 3/5 x </span>

Distance travelled by taxi = 1/4 x

<span>Distance travelled by bus = 1/8 x </span>

<span>The equation we obtain is </span>
========================

<span>x = 3/5 x + 1/4 x + 1/8 x +2 </span>

Select all irrational numbers.
const2013 [10]
The answers are A and D.
The numbers that you cannot simplify without having a radical in the answer are irrational numbers.

√(4/16) = 1/4 or -1/4, rational number
√(9/16) = 3/4 or -3/4, rational number
√(9/4) = 3/2 or -3/2, rational number

√(3/16) = √(3)/4, NOT a rational number, cannot remove radical
√(3/4) = √(3)/2, NOT a rational number, cannot remove radical

Given the function f(x)= √x+7, find the value of x when f(x)=1
solniwko [45]
F(x) = 1, so we make the entire equation equal 1.

1 = sqrt(x) + 7

To make x by itself subtract 7 from both sides

-6 = sqrt(x)

Square both sides to remove sqrt from x.

36 = x

The value of x is 36
