S is located at (9 -3) point T is located at (4 -3)
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

The distance formula is:

d = \sqrt {\left( {x_2 - x_1} \right)^2 + \left( {y_2 - y_1} \right)^2 }

We can plug in the given coordinates into the equation:

d = \sqrt {\left( {4 - 9} \right)^2 + \left( {-3 - (-3)} \right)^2 }\\d = \sqrt {\left( {-5} \right)^2 + \left( {-3+3} \right)^2 }\\d = \sqrt{25 + \left( {0} \right)^2 }\\d=\sqrt{25+0}\\d=\sqrt{25}\\d=5

A triangle can contain 1 or less obtuse angles Indirect proof
son4ous [18]

Answer:

Well, if we know that an obtuse angle is an angle greater than 90 degrees, and that a triangle's angles MUST sum up to 180 degrees and contain three angles. Then it logically follows that there's no way for a triangle to have 3 angles AND have two of the three be greater than or equal to 90 degrees as the remaining angle would have to be zero degrees or some "negative angle"- which I am pretty sure doesn't exist lol! As for a proof, I think you can cook up something with what I have given you so far :)

If your average speed is 2.05 and your time is the average of .87+.94+.72=0.843 then your answer should be 1.728 because distance= speed x time. I don’t know if this is correct because you didn’t label what the numbers were but I hope this helped you!! :)

The sum of the measures of angle x and y is 90. If the measures of angle x is 30 less than twice the measures of angle y what is
svp [43]
First set up your two equations:

x + y = 90

x = 2y - 30

Then substitute what x equals in the second equation into the first equation:

(2y -30) + y = 90

Now solve for y:

3y -30 = 90
3y = 120
y = 40

Then use y = 40 and substitute the value for y into one of your original equations and solve for x.  I'll choose the first one, but either one will work.

x+ 40 = 90
x = 50

So your solution is x = 50 and y = 40
