in a triangle, the measure of the first angle is three times the measure of the second angle. The measure of the third angle is

55 more than the measure of the second angle. Use the fact that the sum of the measures of the three angles is 180 to find the measure of each angle to find the measure of each angle.

Let the angles be A, B, C where B is the second angle.

"measure of the first angle is three times the measure of the second angle" =>
A=3B

"T<span>he measure of the third angle is 55 more than the measure of the second angle</span>" =>
C=B+55

We know that A+B+C=180, =>
A+B+C=180=(3B+B+B+55)
=>
5B=180-55=125
B=25 degrees
A=3*25=75
C=25+55=80
Check: A+B+C=75+25+80=180 ok!

The second angle = 25 , the third angle= 75.
the equation i used was 3X + X + X + 55 = 180

What is the equation of a line passing through (-3,7) and having a slip of -1/5
MrRa [10]

Answer:

\large\boxed{D.\ y=-\dfrac{1}{5}x+\dfrac{32}{5}}

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope-intercept form of an equation of a line:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

We have the slope m = -1/5. Substitute:

y=-\dfrac{1}{5}x+b

Put the coordinates of the given point (-3, 7) to the equation:

7=-\dfrac{1}{5}(-3)+b

7=\dfrac{3}{5}+b            <em>subtract 3/5 from both sides</em>

6\dfrac{2}{5}=b\to b=\dfrac{6\cdot5+2}{5}=\dfrac{32}{5}

Given that <br> a:b = 4:5 <br> and <br> b:c=3.2 <br> find the ratio a:b:c in its simplest form
alex41 [277]
A:b = 4:5
b:c=3:2
b was 5 then it was 3, so you have to find the common multiple which is 15.
you’d have to times the 4 (a) by 3 since that 5x3 is 15
you’d have to times the 2 (c) by 5 since 5x3 is 15 again.
therefore the answer would be
a:b:c
12:15:10
I hope this makes sense it was kinda hard to explain sorry :)

Answer:

Let y = f(x)

=  > y =  \frac{19}{ {x}^{3} }

=  >  {x}^{3}  =  \frac{19}{y}

=  > x =   \sqrt[ 3]{ \frac{19}{y} }

{f}^{ - 1} (x) =   \frac{ \sqrt[3]{19} }{ \sqrt[3]{x} }
