the area of the bottom rectangle is length times width=10 times 20=200 cm²

the area of the higher rectangle
hmm, te width willl be 20-5-5=10
the height is 7cm
so the area is 7 times 10 or 70cm²

the area of the triangle is 1/2 times base times height
the base is 10
the height is 22-10-7=5
the are=1/2 times 10 times 5=5 times 5=25 cm²

in total it is 200+70+25=295cm²

the are is 295cm²

Name the property of a(b+(-b))=(b+(-b))a
Marizza181 [45]

The property of a(b+(-b))=(b+(-b))a is called as Commutative Property of Multiplication.

The Commutative Property in mathematics is a rule that allows interchange the order of terms or factors without any change in the end result.

In multiplication, we can interchange the factors without affecting the end result of multiplication. For example, 2 x 3 = 3 x 2 = 6

In addition, we can interchange the terms without affecting the summation result. For example, 2+3 = 3+2 = 5

But Commutative Property does not apply to subtraction or division.

For example, 2-3 != 3-2

or, 2/3 != 3/2

Hence the answer to the question is Commutative Property of Multiplication.

If function g has the factors (x − 7) and (x + 6), what are the zeros of function g?
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

The zeros are x=7 and x= -6

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the zeros of a function with factors, we have to equate the factors to zero.

So x-7 = 0

and

x+6 = 0

Then we solve for x in each equation,

x= 7 and x= -6

These values are the zeros
