Describe the conditions needed in order for any enzyme to function properly.

Two main factors that must be taken in consideration are temperature and the pH level.
The temperature shouldn’t be too low as it slows down the rate of reaction, meaning that the enzyme will work slower, but also not too high as it will cause the enzyme to denature (stops working as it should).
The pH level is pretty much the same, shouldn’t be not too low nor too high.

They are mostly used by the producers in the ecosystems, as they need them to manage to perform their cycles, get nutrition, and of course energy. The producers are the basis of the ecosystems, so if they do not have a healthy supply of carbon and nitrogen, the ecosystems on the whole planet will collapse. The carbon and the nitrogen later go from one organism to another as the energy is transferred, and usually end up back into the atmosphere again.
