They shared some aspects of their religion. Remember that the Aztec civilization reached it's apex when the Mayan had already fallen. So the aztecs based a lot of their beliefs on the Mayan's ones. They took the idea of the deity known as the Feathered Serpent as their creator, the one who tought them how to farm maize. The Mayan named it Kukulkan and the Aztecs Quetzalcoatl. Another example is the god of rain and thunder named Chaac by the Mayans and Tlaloc by the aztecs.

Both of these cultures built step pyramids to honor their gods, although they have a lot of differences, they were built to be precisely aligned with different astronomical elements, such as the sun or the moon.

Vedmedyk [2.9K]
Grain storage gave people security and the ability of planning ahead. It means that they could store what they produced for the winter and not fear the winter. They could make long term plans and not just live day by day, fearing whether they would have enought to eat the following day
Additionally, it allowed for distribution of grain according to the wishes of those in power

The text below was written in 1918: "In this country—the most favored beneath the bending skies—we have vast areas of the riches
cluponka [151]

Answer:

It will end poverty and put an end to the life-long struggle of the working class.

Explanation:

The text shown in the question above relates the hard life of the working class, which is a struggle that only comes to an end during death, as members of this class work from childhood to old age to maintain the capitalist system we know, which every day makes the working class more exploited. The text shows how workers struggle to have a comfortable life for themselves and their families. With this account, we can see that the author's purpose was to give us the idea that capitalism generates this endless struggle of the working class, but once we accept socialism in our society, we will realize that socialism will end poverty. and end the lifelong struggle of the working class.

In order to protect a nation’s car manufacturing industry from foreign car producers, the government charges the importer a fee
artcher [175]
Tariff makes the most sense. Embargo is a ban on goods or a country, subsidy is money granted from the government to a business and has nothing to do with trade, quota is a limited amount of a product and again doesn't really have anything to do with trade.

What do most elections for local, state, and federal offices have in common?
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

A). They are winner-takes-all elections.

Explanation:

The reason why answer choice "A). They are winner-takes-all elections" is the correct answer because this is what our local, state, and federal elections use to elect someone for office.

The term "winner-takes-all" pretty much means who ever wins get everything, in this case the position in office. The winner-takes-all is implemented in the election because the person that has the most votes would win, so they would take the position in office.

The U.S has been using the winner-takes-all method for many years. This allows people to choose a representative that they think would be the best in office for the city, state, or country.

For example, the U.S President election runs by the "winner-takes-all" method because which ever candidate has the most electoral votes wins, or they just need to hit the 270 electoral votes to win. This is how "winner-takes-all" works in the elections.

I hope this helped you out.

Good luck on your academics.

Have a fantastic day!
