How does energy from the Sun wind up in your dinner?

Biology
1 answer:

Plants harness the energy of sunlight to make carbohydrates.  This energy is used to break the bonds of water and carbon dioxide molecules and rearrange the atoms to form glucose and expend oxygen. This glucose is used to form the structural elements of the plants and also in providing energy. Therefore, when we consume plants directly we are consuming energy from the sun. Also when we consume meat, the energy of the sun has passed through the secondary consumers who feed on plants.

Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

prezygotic

Explanation:

According to my research on the maggot flies breeding process, I can say that based on the information provided within the question the inability to breed in the wild is an example of prezygotic reproductive isolation. Like mentioned in the question this is basically any kind of mechanism that prevents fertilization from occurring.
