Why was there tension between the United States and the USSR after World War II? Their economies were competing for trade in Wes

The United States was capitalist, while the USSR was communist. At the time, the United States, along with the other capitalist European powers, was trying to contain communism and not allow it to spread, as they thought it was a harmful economic system.
