Given : Volume of the box = 10 gallons [gal].

One side of the box = 2.4 meters [m]

Another side of the box = 2.4 feet [ft].

To find : Length of third side in inches.

Soltution:  We have to find the length of third side in inches.

So, we need convert all units in inches first.

1 gallon = 231 in^3.

Therefore,  Volume = 10 gallons= 10* 231 = 2310 in^3.

1 meter = 39.3701 inches.

Therefore, one side of the box = 2.4 * 39.3701 = 94.48824 inches.

1 foot = 12 inches

Therefore, another side of the box = 2.4 feet = 12 * 2.4 = 28.8 inches.

We know formula for Volume of the box is given by

V = first side × second side × Third side

Plugging values in above formula.

2310 = 94.48824 × 28.8 × Third side.

On multiplying 94.48824 × 28.8 , we get

2310 = 2721.261312 × Third side.

Dividing both sides by 2721.261312, we get

\frac{2310}{2721.261312} =\frac{2721.261312 \times  Third \ side}{2721.261312}

Third side ≈ 0.85 (approximately)

PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!!!!
Arlecino [84]

We'll use the notation \textrm{Arcsin } x for the principal value and \arcsin x for all the values:

\arcsin x = \textrm{Arcsin } x + 2\pi k \textrm{ or } (\pi - \textrm{Arcsin }x) + 2\pi k \quad \textrm{ integer } k

Part I

\sin(\theta/2) = \frac 1 2

\theta/2 = \arcsin \frac 1 2

Part II. In our range we can write

\sin(\theta/2) = \sin(\frac \pi 6)

\theta/2 = \frac \pi 6 \textrm{   or   } \theta /2 = \pi - \frac \pi 6 = \frac{5\pi}{6}

Part III.

\theta = \frac \pi 3 \textrm{   or   } \theta = \frac{5\pi}{3}

Part IV.

\theta/2 = \frac \pi 6 + 2\pi k \textrm{ or } \theta = \frac{5 \pi}{6} + 2\pi k \quad \textrm{integer } k

\theta = \frac \pi 3 + 4 \pi k \textrm{   or   } \theta = \frac{5 \pi}{3} + 4\pi k  \quad \textrm{integer } k

Please help solve quick
RoseWind [281]

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

3x^2 + 17x +10 =0

(3x+   ) ( x+   ) =0

We need to factor 10  = 2*5  or 1*10

They are positive since we have all positive terms

3*5 = 15+2 = 17

The 5 needs to multiply the 3 so it goes on the outside

(3x+   ) ( x+  5 ) =0

That leaves the 2 on the inside

(3x+ 2  ) ( x+ 5  ) =0

Using the zero product property

3x+2 =0     x+5=0

3x = -2          x=-5

x = -2/3          x = -5
