Describe how Earth would be affected if it no longer got energy from the Sun.
ELEN [110]

Answer:

Fortunately, Earth retains heat fairly well, so humans wouldn't freeze instantly. Without the Sun's rays, all photosynthesis on Earth would stop. All plants would die and, eventually, all animals that rely on plants for food — including humans — would die, too.

A .332 mold sample of gas at a constant pressure and temperature has a volume of 150.0mL. If the volume of the gas is decreased
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

0.111 mol

Explanation:

We can solve this problem by using Avogadro's law, which states that at constant pressure and temperature:

 • V₁n₂=V₂n₁

Where in this case:

 • V₁ = 150.0 mL
 • n₂ = ?
 • V₂ = 50.0 mL
 • n₁ = 0.332 mol

We input the data given by the problem:

 • 150.0 mL * n₂ = 50.0 mL * 0.332 mol

And solve for n₂:

 • n₂ = 0.111 mol
