Answer:

1, 4, 5, 7, 7, 7, 9, 14, 15, 15

Mean: 1 + 4 + 5 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 9 + 14 + 15 + 15 = 84/10 = 8.4

Median: 7

Mode: 7

Here is the mean, median, and mode:

Mean: 1+2+4+5+7+7+7+9+14+15+15 = 86/11 ≈ 7.82
Median: 7
Mode: 7

To find the mean add up all the numbers and divide by the number of numbers

To find the median you just keep on crossing of numbers left to right until you get the middle number

To find the mode just look at which number is most commonly seen

Hope this helps!

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 15 inches more than the perimeter of a square, and the side of the triangle is 8 in
Setler [38]

ANSWER:

The length of a side of the triangle is 17 inches.

SOLUTION:

Given, the perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 15 inches more than the perimeter of square.

And the side of the triangle is 8 inches longer than the side of the square.

Let the length of the side of a triangle be x.

And the length of the side of a square be y.

perimeter of triangle = a + b + c , where a , b, c represents side

perimeter of square = a + a + a +a , where a represents side

Given, the perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 15 inches more than the perimeter of square. Hence we form a equation as

Then, x + x + x = 15 + y + y + y + y

3x = 15 + 4y ---- (1)

Now, given that, x = 8 + y ---- (2)

Substitute (2) in (1)

3(8 + y) = 15 + 4y

24 + 3y = 15 + 4y

4y – 3y = 24 – 15

y = 9

Now, substitute y value in (2)

x = 8 + 9 = 17

Hence, the length of a side of the triangle is 17 inches.

I. After how many weeks will Jennifer and William have the same amount of money in their bank accounts?
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

 • 5 weeks
 • $100

Step-by-step explanation:

Part i

Jennifer's account:

 • f(x) = 10x + 50

William's account can be expressed as:

 • g(x) = 14x + 30

Because the rate of change is 14 and y-intercept is 30

They will be same after x years, f(x) = g(x)

 • 10x + 50 = 14x + 30
 • 14x - 10x = 50 - 30
 • 4x = 20
 • x = 5

The accounts will be same after 5 weeks

Part ii

The amount in the accounts after 5 weeks:

 • f(5) = g(5) = 10*5 + 50 = $100
