The "time bombs" being experienced
were the risk of chaos as there was no central power with the federal
government and states could have broken to their own. Because of the
decentralization of power it was very difficult to collect taxes
and keep the government going smoothly, the trade was difficult between various
states and all of these were real threats at that time.
Actually most were happy to leave the swamp of trying to force peace onto the ever warring greeks
It would be the development in agricultural knowledge/technology
Development in agriculture enable hunter/gatherer society to shift their behavior. Before this, they had to keep moving from one place to another in order to seek food to live.
After the development in agricultural knowledge/technology, the society now can stay in one exact place for a long period of time and relied on agricultural product as their main source food.
After living in one same place for a long time, the needs to build things to accommodate their living start to arise. They start to built several things and repeat the process every year. In the end, large cities were developed from the initially small hunter/gatherer society.
Franklin D. Roosevelt, in his speech "Four Freedoms", in 1941, mentioned some things that can be considered inconsistent with the US policy, because when he says: 1<em>) "The need of the moment....is to meet this foreign peril. For </em><em>our domestic problems are now a part of the great emergency</em><em>" and 2) "Just as our national policy in internal affairs has been </em><em>based upon a decent respect for the rights and the dignity ofall our fellow men..." </em>are not consistent with all the discriminatory practices blacks faced at that time.
As I stared at him whilst he was being brought into the jell cell,I noticed the bags under his eyes.
"Hey,You look tired" I said
"Yes,I am tired.I'm tired of the way black people are treated differently.I am tired of how every time we get near them,they automatically marks us as someone different."
I sighed.
The word really is like that.
