8. Each student in the classroom had 5 of each
sineoko [7]

Given what we know, we can confirm that despite the students having the same 5 nitrogen bases, all the DNA models created will not be equal.

What makes these models different?

 • The models will differ due to DNA sequence.
 • What this means is that the order in which the base pairs are aligned affects the outcome.
 • There are well over 20+ different ways in which to arrange four nitrogen pairs to create a DNA model.
 • The fifth nitrogen base adds even more possibilities.

Therefore, just as with the genetic code in all living organisms, it is made of 4 nitrogen bases. What makes the DNA of each organism distinct is the ordering and sequence of these nitrogen bases within our DNA.

What Is a purpose for which a pedigree chart might be prepared
puteri [66]
Pedigree charts are great for determining if there is any genetic link to the disease of an affected patient. Or what type of inheritance patter there is.

Sex linked diseases would affect mainly the male line & daughters would most often be carriers.

Autosomal recessive would mean that the affected patients would need to inherit the disease from 2 carrier parents that are typically asymptomatic.

Autosomal dominant would show affected children coming from affected parents. It only takes 1 gene to trigger the disease.

Hope this helps!
