Answer:

Prokaryotes are a simple, single-celled species, which are devoid of membrane-bound organelles or a nucleus. The cell composition of prokaryotes can differ, however, the majority of organisms exhibit many basic constituents. Prokaryotes have a plasma membrane or cell membrane, which functions as a safeguarding layer.

They also possess a tough cell wall for supplementary protection and support. The cells of prokaryotes possess ribosomes that are the molecules, which produce proteins. Their genetic substance is in the nucleoid that is the part where DNA thrives. Supplementary rings of DNA known as plasmids float freely in the cytoplasm.

Apart from this, some of the prokaryotes exhibit flagellum or pilus to assist them in movement. Some of the prokaryotes exhibit a capsule exterior to their cell walls. The storage of nutrients can also differ, however, many prokaryotes utilize stowage granules in their cytoplasm.

Valentin [98]

Answer:

Arteries carry oxygenated blood away from the heart. Veins carry the blood back to the heart. Veins contain valves that ensure blood flows in only one direction. Arteries don’t require valves because pressure from the heart is so strong that blood is only able to flow in one direction.

A group of scientists is studying the internal parts of a cell. Which microscope is most appropriate for these scientists to use
Lady bird [3.3K]
The most appropriate microscope for studying the internal parts of the cell is ELECTRON MICROSCOPE. The correct option is B.
Electron microscope, which is a compound microscope is usually used to study the internal environment  of the cell because of the easiness with which one can easily distinguish the cell organelles from one another. Electron microscope gives great clarification of the cellular components and allow scientists to observe minute details about cellular structures. Electron microscope usually magnify specimens to one million times of their real sizes.

Reticulate and elementary bodies are two forms of A. Mycoplasma. B. Caulobacter. C. Chlamydia. D. Myxobacteria.
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

C. Chlamydia. is the correct answer.

Explanation:

Chlamydia is a bacterial sexually transmitted disease, caused by obligate intracellular Chlamydia trachomatis.

In the life of chlamydia, there are two stages of developmental(Reticulate and elementary bodies are two forms of Chlamydia.)

The elementary body is the infectious substance, they are non replicating and have a rigid outer membrane that binds to the receptors present on the host cell and it initiates the infection and due to the rigid outer membrane there, no fusion between the phagosome and the lysosome hence oppose the intracellular killing.

Reticulate bodies are the metabolically active form of a chlamydia and non-infectious.
