Use Pythagorean Theorem which states that in a right triangle:

 $a^2+b^2=c^2$, where a and b are the legs, and c is the hypotenuse.

$24^2+10^2=x^2$

Take the square root of both sides to solve for x.

$x = \sqrt{676} = 26$

The answer  is 26.
