If you are doing electronic configuration for Bromine atom; then you need to put the symbol of Argon (Ar) inside the brackets because the noble gas that comes before Bromine (Br) is Argon (Ar).

Which of the following is the best hypothesis?
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

B.) If sodium carbonate is added to vinegar, the reaction will absorb heat.

Explanation:

A.) is incorrect because this is not testable. Rather, it is just an opinion that cannot be proven correct or incorrect.

B.) is correct because this statement is testable. Tests need to be run to determine the accuracy of the statement.

C.) is incorrect because this statement explains something that does not need to be tested. It is an example of a physical change when one tears a piece of paper.

D.) is incorrect because this is already a true statement. It is obvious that not all reactions absorb/release heat. While tests could be run to further prove this statement true, it is already considered accurate.

When a soda can is dropped, it should not be immediately opened. Why?
umka2103 [35]
When soda companies add carbon dioxide gas to a soda mixture, the water is very cold so it can hold a lot of gas. They also use pressure to put more gas in the water than it could normally hold at that temperature. But when a soda can warms up a bit or when the can is shaken, that extra gas is really ready to come out. So when you open up the can and release the pressure, splooosh!

Actual yield of Fe2(So4)3 = 18.5g

2FePo4 + 3Na2SO4 -> Fe2(SO4)3 + 2Na3PO4

Mole of FePO4 = mass of it / its molar mass =
25 g / (55.8 + 31 + 16*4) = 0.166 mol

every 2 mole of FePO4 will form 1 mole of Fe2(SO4)3

Mole of Fe2(SO4)3 produced = 0.166 / 2 = 0.0829 mol

0.0829 * (55.8*2 + 3*(32.1+ 16*4)) = 33.148 g of Fe2(SO4)3

18.5 / 33.148 * 100 = 55.8%

You have 627 ml of 5.04 M HCl. Using a volumetric pipet, you take 229 ml of that solution and dilute it to 921 ml in a volumetri
trasher [3.6K]

Answer:

0.653

Explanation:

1)

M1V1 = M2V2

M1 = 5.04 M

V1 = 229 mL ( you take only this volume)

V2 = 921 mL

5.04*229 = M2 * 921

M2 = (5.04*229)/921 Molarity

2)

M1V1 = M2V2

M1 = (5.04*229)/921

V1 = 100 mL

V2= 192 mL

(5.04*229)/921 *100 = M2 * 192

M2 = [(5.04*229)/921 *100]/192 = 0.653 final molarity
